Bridal Veil Elopement

Sheila has the best laugh and the best smile, outdone only by Jake when he looks at her and his eyes light up.

These two took a break from their busy long-distance relationship to fly to Portland and tie the knot. She was stationed in Kansas, and he in Northern California. She graduated from college at University of Portland in 2006, and he had never once been to Portland. And that’s how we end up here: on Sheila’s spring break at Bridal Veil Falls, with her best friend from college, the love of her life and the sock monkey he carried in his hat all the way to the Columbia River Gorge.
