Today I’m scheduled to have a scone party with one of my favorite muses, Brianne. I thought it’d be appropriate to have today’s post feature a snap of her standing outside Slappy Cakes with her brother, Jordan, last month on her 20th birthday. You can see Chris’s reflection lurking in the window.

I love the boldness this photo. Black and whites are my favorite. I’m also a love of anything vintage and this photo screams it. Your exposure is perfect. Plus, these two are just adorable.

Chris and I enjoyed our food, but we didn’t get pancakes. Somehow, I just can’t bring myself to go out for brunch and order pancakes! It’s like paying $3 for a glass of milk, or orange juice… There’s nothing spectacular about it, you’re just paying for the convenience of it. Also, the interior is a lot more spacious than I imagined. It’s a pretty comfy joint.
