The Colony St John’s Wedding

One of my favorite moments from this wedding actually happened a bit before the big day. Before every event I send out a questionnaire to round up all the last minute details. When asked about their outfits Chantelle said she’d have a “sick leather jacket” and Ben would be wearing a three-piece leather suit.

Everything you need to know about this day hides in those details.

They knocked the rock ‘n’ roll wedding vibe out of the park while simultaneously kicking tradition to the curb. The dining room’s centerpieces were punctuated with skulls, and their vows included Ministry lyrics. When it came time for the reception there were some more traditional elements of a wedding day. Not long after, the dance floor was flooded once again with party animals.

These two are here to show you what happens when you refuse to be anyone but yourself all day, every day, but most especially on your wedding day.
