FOREIGN CINEMA WEDDING
Last year’s wedding season ended on a high note, with one of the most quintessentially San Francisco days I’ve been a part of in a long time. The weekend was kicked off at the Landmark Terrace on top of Hotel Vitale where everyone was treated to a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay during sunset. The next day I met up with Dan and Alex at their home before venturing off to Fort Funston and Balmy Alley for portraits of just the two of them. From there we met up with everyone, friends and family alike, for formal portraits on top of Bernal Hill.
After that we just eased into the rest of the evening at Foreign Cinema, a restaurant in the heart of the Mission that’s got ambiance oozing from the bistro lights. Thanks to the talents of their florist, Jaclyn Nesbitt, the space was elevated into a fall feeling with season appropriate centerpieces and custom tailored chuppah. During the toasts, Alex’s brother and some friends treated everyone to some operatic singing before kicking off the hora and launching straight into a dance party.
The whole day really was the perfect blend of elegance and simplicity, with so many sweet and fun personalities come together in one cozy little space.
