Portland Music Photographer

Last week I caught wind of a photoshoot happening between some friends of mine. Tari Gunstone was getting together with Lorain to shoot some band promos and snag a cover shot for their shiny new album that’s about to roll out. Having worked with Erik Emanuelson a couple times before, I was invited to come hang out and shoot alongside Tari. This gave me the wiggle room to just kick back and play around, something I’m not usually afforded on shoots where I’m the primary photographer.

I went pretty crazy, pulling out some old tricks while trying out some new ones, too. I didn’t always hit my mark, but what we ended up with has such an indelible streak of mystery and slight gloom that I think fits their music well. Thanks for letting me tag along on this one, friends. ❤️
