PORTLAND JAPANESE GARDEN PROPOSAL
Last summer I got to fulfill a dream when Michelle emailed me about her and her girlfriend, Katy’s, upcoming visit to Portland. Enjoying a long distance relationship between Kansas and North Carolina, they planned a trip out West for Michelle’s birthday. They’d always had Portland in the back of their mind as a place to hopefully end up living together someday, so why not pop the big question at the Portland Japanese Garden while exploring this beautiful city for the first time?
So what did I learn from this awesome new experience? That shooting proposals will make me feel like even more of a ninja than usual, I need to pack tissues for my clients as well as myself, and that these two ladies are so forking in love and how it shows in their sweet, sometimes shy, sometimes goofy way.
