Champ on the Bluffs

July 19, 2012 / Friends & Family

I was sitting on my couch when my phone started buzzing incessantly. I wasn’t getting a call, or a series of texts from Nathan Fillion professing his undying love to me… So what the heck was it?! I opened up my phone and the calendar alert read, “7:00 PM. Champ on the Bluffs.” Ummm… What time is it now? 6:15pm.

Well, this is embarrassing! I scrambled for some bobby pins to harness the wreck that was my hair, threw on my shoes and stuffed my bag full of peel-apart film.

Ok! I’m ready. I’m ready for champagne on the Skidmore Bluffs with two of the awesomest ladies I know.

I can safely say that hanging out on the Skidmore Bluffs with Stefanie and Molly, passing around a bottle of champagne and eagerly awaiting the sun to set on the West Hills was the most pleasant surprise of the summer. Even if I actually had planned for it the week before. Thanks, ladies.

Note: Starting tomorrow I’ll be out of town and away from the internet while I’m on an Oregon/California road trip with my best friend. This is the first of a few scheduled posts, but you can follow our real-time adventures on Instagram or through my Facebook page!

Have a good week, everyone!
