Brianne B. | Cathedral Park

December 13, 2011 / Brianne & Co., Film

Is there any bigger tease in life than a clear, sunny day in December? Because that’s what us Portlanders are going through today. I’m not going to complain… Too much… But when scanning in these frames from the summer I had to resist the urge to throw on my cutest summer get-up and catch the next bus to St. John’s. I mean, just look at Brianne in her little ~safari~ outfit! And… Shoes with no socks? Guh. Come back soon, Summer. WE MISS YOU!

This was the second roll of color film I ran through the Mamiya. As you can tell, I was still pretty in love with the rotating back, hence all the vertical shots. Plus, my first successful double exposure! Woo!

At the very least I can be thankful that it hasn’t rained in so long that I can’t even remember the last time it rained. I’ll just have to settle for capturing some of the outfits that winter helps create and posting those in 6 months, while I complain about how hot it is. :)
