A Toast to All of You.
After a whirlwind of a wedding season in 2014, I decided to take a small step back from the business end of things and leave myself a little extra breathing room. As much as I loved saying yes to every sweet couple and amazing opportunity that came my way, I knew I needed to recharge. To be frank, I was worried about burning out. Despite being five years since I quit my day job and went full-time with photography, I’m still wiggling around trying to find my happy place between keepin’ busy and livin’ life.
But I can’t say I have any regrets about how 2015 went down. I saw friends old and new come together in gorgeous, emotionally driven wedding ceremonies, fulfilled my promise to spend more time in the kitchen as well as outdoors, upped my Polaroid game, continued to visit rad places with rad people and even went solo on an international trip for the first time ever.
Here’s a bit of what’s been going on with me over the last year. My thanks and gratitude to all who were a part of to what turned into such an inspiring, nourishing year.
