Snowblind Traveler

A couple years ago I took a timeout from wedding season to help Matt Dorrien drum up some press photos. To tell the truth, I hadn’t even heard Matt’s music before we met up for a mini session in the Industrial Southeast. I just knew he was a friend of a good friend and sorely in need of a few quick photos. Being tapped into a small bubble in our city’s music scene makes this pretty common for me.

Little did I realize that Matt’s band, Snowblind Traveler, would become one of my favorite acts in all of Portland; an ear-worm supreme, road trip staple and a live show I always try my best to make it out to. Little did I know one of the photos we took on this day would end up on one of his albums.
