Eve and Green wanted our awesome city of Portland to represent their engagement photos. This meant a fun filled day of hopping from one quintessential Portland scene to the next.
Though I had looked forward a foggy visit to Arcata, the unusual abundance of sunshine allowed Rowan and Dustin to brave HWY 299 for an engagement shoot in Humboldt.
I've shot weddings, I've shot engagements, I've shot girls with their cats, a 100th birthday party and press photos for bands. And now I've shot a honeymoon.
When I got together with Erik Emanuelson to talk about press photos for his band, Grand Lake Islands, he was especially drawn to the mysterious qualities of Polaroid photography, and how often they tend to feel timeless.
All right, so... I don't know that for a fact. But I couldn't resist a Ramones reference, and thanks to our very talented mutual friend, Lillian got to look the part for a day.
