Summer of Puff

I got to see my friends’ dog, Sir Didymus (a.k.a. Puff) almost every day that I was in Redding this month, and he was a real treat. I’m a fan of smaller dogs, the bigger guys just don’t do it for me, and I found Puff to be the perfect middle ground.

He was adopted from Pets Without Partners and while there isn’t a whole lot of background info on him, one thing is for sure: the pup has got some serious separation anxiety! This is what he does if you come home from lunch and linger outside the porch for too long.

Hey, I’d have separation anxiety too if my owner was that much of a babe. ;)

If he were my dog, I’d name him David Bowie.

One of Puff’s favorite things is being chased. By humans, other dogs, it doesn’t matter!

Any excuse to run, run, run, I guess!

He’s totally sweet, extra quirky and a bit of a weirdo…

Just like his parents. :)

Awesome, as always. You still using your 50 mm lens?

Thanks Asha :) Yeah, I still use the 50mm from time to time, but to be honest, my 30mm gets the most playtime (which is what all of these were shot with).

great, now I am going to go irrationally buy one of those because I’ve already started obsessing over it. Way to go, Kim!

;)

Hah! Oops! Hey, if it’s any consolation, when I bought that Sigma lens the Nikkor 35mm/1.8 wasn’t out yet. So maybe you can start obsessing over the much lighter and cheaper option instead. ;)

Yay! Aw, Kimmy…you took such beautiful shots! I seriously got choked up, because they were so good AND because you captured Puff and his personality so well! Thanks, friend. ;) <3

It was my pleasure! Puff was a perfect gentleman. Also, I still have all the photos from when we happened upon that weiner dog fiesta to share… !!!

Great series! Puff looks like a real pal. =)

<3 PUFF!!!! He is so adorable!!!
