Brianne B. | Cathedral Park

December 13, 2011

Is there any bigger tease in life than a clear, sunny day in December? Because that’s what us Portlanders are going through today. I’m not going to complain… Too much… But when scanning in these frames from the summer I had to resist the urge to throw on my cutest summer get-up and catch the next bus to St. John’s. I mean, just look at Brianne in her little ~safari~ outfit! And… Shoes with no socks? Guh. Come back soon, Summer. WE MISS YOU!

This was the second roll of color film I ran through the Mamiya. As you can tell, I was still pretty in love with the rotating back, hence all the vertical shots. Plus, my first successful double exposure! Woo!

At the very least I can be thankful that it hasn’t rained in so long that I can’t even remember the last time it rained. I’ll just have to settle for capturing some of the outfits that winter helps create and posting those in 6 months, while I complain about how hot it is. :)

These are great! Another fine post.

Oooo, that double gave me chills! The Mamiya is giving you some crazy DOF, or maybe my eyes are just tired from being at the computer all day. Either way, it’s making me miss summer too!

Oh man that double exposure is SO GOOD!

DAYUM GURL i love that double exposure. seriously. this friend of yours is so effortless in front of the camera. and i love her pop of lipstick.

i wish i had friends who’d let me take pics of them. :/ womp womp.

That double exposure is really cool!
Man, I really want to go to Cathedral Park, but it’s also so far!

Lovely photos! The double exposure one is really cool!

Her necklace is just so darn cute! And so is she! Are her curls naturally like that?

(Also, the second to last photo is something you see on an album insert or something, really beautifully done!)

Thanks Sara. :) I’m in love with her curls, too, but apparently she is just as straight-haired as you and me, though I’ve never actually seen any proof of this. She admits to laboriously curling her hair every day, though! What a trooper.
