Chrissy and Ernest's Cathedral Park Elopement | Portland Wedding Photographer

Let's get those ducks in a row, shall we?

Detailed prices are listed in my guidebook, which I send out via email. So get in touch, and tell me about yourselves and your wedding plans! I’ll respond as soon as possible, generally within 48 business hours. In the meantime you can read some basic information about my photography packages here.

Wedding dates are booked with the first couple to sign a contract and pay a deposit. Contracts are signed electronically, because we live in The Future, and payments can be made either by check, Square Cash or Venmo.

Complimentary slideshows go live 2 weeks after your big day so you have something to chew on while I'm toiling away behind the scenes. Finished galleries are delivered 4-8 weeks after that.

Typically a full wedding day yields 400-600 photos, depending on length of coverage and how action packed the day is.

In an online gallery where you can view, download, share and order prints.

For weddings outside of Portland, OR I charge for travel and accommodation, but not travel time. My fee covers 2 nights stay + gas, car rental or airfare.

You can order prints through your online gallery if you’d like, but every wedding package comes with a printing release so you’re welcome to print your images whenever, wherever you’d like.

What if it rains?

Don't worry, I'm highly trained at dual wielding cameras and umbrellas! My gear is also professional grade and water sealed, so I've taken a beating in a surprise downpour at no risk to my equipment, or your memories. Well, besides the one memory where your photographer looked like a drowned rat with Lydia Deetz bangs on your wedding day. Sorry about that...

ABSOLUTELY. I love the laid-back, intimate feel of elopements, courthouse ceremonies and any other stripped down celebration where the focus is on the people, not the stuff.

Yes! Every photo delivered to you is edited to the extent you see on this site. This includes not only corrections to exposure and color grading, but also some retouching. I won't make you look plastic fantastic (it kind of goes against the rules of honest photography, sorry!) but I will zap anything that's here today, gone tomorrow.

I shoot as many (or few) group photos in as formal or casual nature as each couple desires. I believe the documentation of family trees are some of the most important photos you can take away from your wedding, and also recognize it's a part of the day most people dread. This is the only time that I stick to a strict formula to make sure the process goes by swiftly and painlessly. On average I spend 15-20 minutes taking all wedding party and family photos.

I'm thrilled to document any kind of celebration of love, and am proud to have worked with queer, same sex and trans couples in the past. I do not discriminate in any shape, way or form with my clients and believe in the unique beauty of every person and the love they share with another human.

Luxury albums, coffee table and keepsake books are all available for purchase with your photography package.

Are your prices flexible?

Occasionally I moonlight as a bartender with a Portland-based mobile bar service, so you just might catch me slinging drinks at your work event or a friend's wedding one of these days!

Other than that this is the only job I have. After 13 years in this business I know what hard work wedding photography is and that it shouldn’t be taken lightly. Bookings are limited each year — on average I shoot 15 weddings per season. This is my happy place because it affords me the opportunity to give each of my couples my full time and attention in the months leading up to their big day, when things like schedules and vendors are being hashed out and professional guidance might be needed.

Out of fairness to all my couples who pay full price, I do not offer discounts. However, it is more important to me that you walk away from your wedding with images you love than having a strict pricing guide. I am flexible with creating a custom package that fits your needs and budget. EMAIL ME about your plans and let's make it work!

What if you get sick?

Unless I fall off a cliff, I will be there. In terms of Covid precautions, I am vaccinated, live alone, limit my exposure risks, test regularly, and always work fully masked. In the rare event that something beyond my powers prevents me from attending your wedding, I will do everything that is in my power to find you a suitable replacement.
