Wedding photography should tell a story.
Maybe you’re planning something sweet on top of a mountain, or maybe you and your closest friends just can’t wait to rage all night on the dance floor. Maybe you’ve been practicing smizing for months, or maybe you feel a little shy around cameras. Maybe you’re wearing a white dress, or maybe you’re not wearing a speck of white at all.
I take joy in shooting all sorts of celebrations, but my goal is always the same: to capture an honest and completely personal narrative of your wedding.
During our time together, I’ll assume the role of the ever-present narrator, finding meaning where most people wouldn’t look twice, punctuating each photo with an artful touch. When it’s time to take portraits, we’ll wander off away from prying eyes where I’ll be more than happy to provide some guidance.
I strongly believe the most important thing I could give you on your wedding day — even more than gorgeous photos — is peace of mind.
You’ll find no intimidating light set-ups or rockstar egos here. No fake smiles or awkward posing. Just me, you and your loved ones having fun on a really special day.
All you have to do is show up, smile and say, “I do.”
Before I can tell your story, I’ll have to know a bit about who you are. I would love to chat over email, meet for coffee or tacos if you’re local to the Portland area, and get to know each other better. You can tell me all about your special day, and I’ll probably tell you about my cats.
