Clips Of My Weekend

May 24, 2011

For those who don’t already subscribe, the lovely Kate Miss has a weekly feature on her blog, For Me, For You called Bits Of My Weekend, in which she visually summarizes her time off the clock with still photographs.

We’ve been toying with the Olympus Pen like mad lately, so I thought it would be fun to do a “spoof” and title it Clips Of My Weekend. See what I did there? As you know, in my universe weekends are extremely relative – Fridays generally being Mondays for me – so most of this footage was shot during the middle of last week.

I had a lot of fun putting this together and, while I can’t say I’d have the energy to do this every week, I would certainly expect to see some more Clips in the future.

Kim!!! This is awesome! What a lovely weekend you had. I hope you do it again soon. The video is so fun to watch.

[…] I want to take a moment and thank everyone for the positive response to my last two video posts. I’m really looking forward to making more movies for the blog, and even have […]

So good! I barely learned Final Cut Pro a couple of weeks ago for a project.I spent over 15 hours on a 3 minute video. Videos are so cool but editing is such a pain!

funn. man you made me miss riding a bike! i just can’t do it in the city though!

I don’t blame you! Bikers pretty much rule the streets in most parts of Portland. Honestly, though, I don’t even like riding in downtown Portland – I would be TERRIFIED to ride a bike in a REAL city!

This is really making me miss my home movie days! You’re killing me! Also, was that AMC in there? And I loved the bit with you and Franny, and “that guy and his pig”.

=)

Oh, you know it! No clip show about my life is complete without some AMC footage.

And you definitely need to jump back onto the home movie wagon. Pretty please?! :)

What a fun way to share a bit of your world! Love it. Looking forward to more…

Aw, I love this!
