Instax Gratification

January 28, 2011

Earlier this week I received a Diana bundle I bought off eBay for a ridiculously good deal: Diana+, the Edelweiss clone, a fisheye lens and instant back for less than 50% of its total value. The guy even threw in a couple rolls of 120 film marking the first time in history I’ve ever actually gotten more than I paid for off eBay.

See? Miracles do happen.

These were the first two shots I took on Wednesday. Chris, at a bus stop on NE 9th and Multnomah, and Haley & Brianne in front of some random garage on SE 14th.

This is the first time I’ve ever had an instant camera, and I’m already having enough fun to forget about how much the film costs. ;)

Camera: Diana+ w/ Instant Back

Lovely! Great use of fisheye too. :)

lovely tones and i love the grain…

[https://www.flickr.com/photos/sariady] Likewise! We should go out and shoot sometime, the three of us!

[https://www.flickr.com/photos/corfu_58] It is sooo addictive, but a forewarning: the film is rather expensive.

This is great, I want one for my Diana!

love your photos!
and haley is a lot of fun to take pictures of

Fisheye! I actually like the tone here, I guess the Diana+ filters down the bright and sharp color you’d normally get with Instax camera. You’re gonna get hooked, instant photos are like drug!

ooh what fun! i’m tempted to get the fuji instax for some cheap (well cheaper than polaroids) instant gratification!

nicely blog.
photos of food are very good ;)
