In Bokeh’s Name, Amen

February 9, 2011

It’s come to my attention that bokeh isn’t something that every photography lover is obsessed with. Apparently, there are some people who don’t look at a photo and see the bokeh first, and subject second. They just can’t recognize or appreciate some good, luscious bokeh.

Blasphemy, I know.

Well, this post isn’t for them. ;)

This plant was spotted in someone’s front yard off of NE 13th. Surely I can’t be the only person who stumbles upon a scene such as this with the first thought in my head being, “Oh, now that would make some good bokeh!”

I about died when I saw how the plants transformed into impressionistic daubs of their former self.

Mmmm… Bokeh.

So say we all!

It’s the freaking Day of the Triffids. In your neighbourhood. o.o

God is in the bokeh.

By the way, remove the house from the background and this is a primordial landscape. I love those Jurassic plants. ;)

you mean… some people DON’T love bokeh?
*gasps* .. This photo is gorgeous, by the way.
