Mr. Higgins

November 6, 2010

This was the only 100% successful frame on an entire roll of film I shot between July and October. I have a feeling I need to install some fancy cardboard mod into my Holga because I keep getting fat rolls. Also, I need to stop shooting 100 speed film in bad lighting conditions.

But I have to admit, though I’m sad I missed out on the other 11 shots, I’m glad this is the one that came out. Mr. Higgins is a delight.

Happy Caturday!

I’ve had more success with ISO 400 film with Holga.

yes, this one IS a success. great portrait of a Tom Cat’s life. :)

my goodness, this is just spot-on! very very very nice Holga shot you got here. this should be viewed large on black! and yeah, who cares if you lost 11 shots if you have something as good as this!

p.s. that cat has got some hate beams shooting out of his eyes. pew pew

Holga sounds fun, I haven’t had the courage to get one myself because I’m scared to ruin 120 films, they’re so expensive here!

The weird thing is that my first few Holga rolls came out perfectly, it’s only recently I’ve been struggling. Could be the film I’m using, too!

Also, it’s funny you should say that because I have the exact same fears about Polaroid! I don’t own one but have always wanted to… Know nothing about using them and fear 1000 trial runs before I got anything nearly as awesome as you do!

Love this! He looks so devious! :)

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)

Fantastic! He looks like Peter Lorre!
